چکیده

In a paper dealing with the representations of Lie groups by linear transformations in the n-dimensional and Hilbert space,' I have obtained the following particular result: Let Ht (c < t < co) be afamily of bounded selfadjoint transformations in Hilbert space i,? forming a group, i.e., Ho = E (the identical transformation), HtHs = Ht + s Suppose that (for every element f in O) the numerical function (Htf, f) = IHt,2f 12 of t is Lebesgue-measurable in a suitable neighborhood of t = 0. Let us denote by m resp. M the lower resp. the upper bound of H1 (we have m > 0). Then there is a resolution of the identity, EA, continuous from the left, such that E, = O for X _ m, E, = Efor X > M and that

Error bounds in approximating n-time differentiable functions of self-adjoint operators in Hilbert spaces via a Taylor's type expansion

On utilizing the spectral representation of selfadjoint operators in Hilbert spaces, some error bounds in approximating $n$-time differentiable functions of selfadjoint operators in Hilbert Spaces via a Taylor's type expansion are given.

Dilations‎, ‎models‎, ‎scattering and spectral problems of 1D discrete Hamiltonian systems

In this paper, the maximal dissipative extensions of a symmetric singular 1D discrete Hamiltonian operator with maximal deficiency indices (2,2) (in limit-circle cases at ±∞) and acting in the Hilbert space ℓ_{Ω}²(Z;C²) (Z:={0,±1,±2,...}) are considered. We consider two classes dissipative operators with separated boundary conditions both at -∞ and ∞. For each of these cases we establish a self...

Extension of the Hilbert Space by J-Unitary Transformations

A theory of non-unitary unbounded similarity transformation operators is developed. To this end the class of J-unitary operators U is introduced. These operators are similar to unitary operators in their algebraic aspects but differ in their topological properties. It is shown how J-unitary operators are related to so-called J-biorthonormal systems and J-selfadjoint projections. Families {Uα} o...

A new topology on the space of unbounded selfadjoint operators and the spectral flow

We define a new topology, weaker than the gap topology, on the space of selfadjoint unbounded operators on a separable Hilbert space. We show that the subspace of selfadjoint Fredholm operators represents the functor K from the category of compact spaces to the category of abelian groups and prove a similar result for K. We define the spectral flow of a continuous path of selfadjoint Fredholm o...

The spectral properties of differential operators with matrix coefficients on elliptic systems with boundary conditions

Let $$(Lv)(t)=sum^{n} _{i,j=1} (-1)^{j} d_{j} left( s^{2alpha}(t) b_{ij}(t) mu(t) d_{i}v(t)right),$$ be a non-selfadjoint differential operator on the Hilbert space $L_{2}(Omega)$ with Dirichlet-type boundary conditions. In continuing of papers [10-12], let the conditions made on the operator $ L$ be sufficiently more general than [11] and [12] as defined in Section $1$. In this paper, we estim...
